'Yoga' means 'Union' - but how do we unite?
In a time when our social interactions are limited and societal norms are being challenged, we're all seeking to unite- but with what and how?
In Sanskrit, the word ‘yoga’ means union, and refers to a state when one is connected to the essence of themselves, and therefore the essence of all life. Sahaja Yoga is a meditation practice which spontaneously brings the individual into this state of union, achieved when the mind is completely silent. In this state, the true potential that lies within an individual is revealed, and a profound experience of peace and harmony can be felt from within.
In this live event We Meditate, an international non-profit organisation of meditators from around the world, will share the experience of true yoga completely free of charge for all those who wish to get connected. Over the course of 1 hour, participants will be introduced to the method of Sahaja Yoga meditation, guided through several meditation exercises and will even be treated to a live musical performance to enhance the meditation experience.
This event will take place via the We Meditate livestream, on June 21st 2020 at 7pm. Participants should register their interest beforehand, and will receive an email reminder when the event goes live.
